We recently had the pleasure of meeting the wonderful people who are developing The Little Gym project in Sofia. It is a worldwide sports-educational program that includes activities for children between the ages of 4 months and 12 years.
Little bit more about The Little Gym
The Little Gym team helps children to develop physically, socially, emotionally and intellectually, regardless of their sporting talent and physical capabilities. The gym is the perfect place to make new friends, build confidence and courage.
At The Little Gym, various activities are held, each of which is led by a qualified instructor, trained in a certified methodology for working with children.
How did we meet?
The owner of The Little Gym Martin Petrov, accidentally heard in one of the reports on NOVA about our campaign “WHAT DO YOU BREATHE?”. The purpose of the campaign really appealed to him and he immediately decided to contact us. In less than a week, we were able to meet with him, inspect the hall, choose the best configuration for measuring air quality in their conditions, and install the sensors themselves.
Why did they want to join the campaign?
Due to the nature of indoor activities, air quality is particularly important here. Since children are very active, the levels of the three indicators CO2, temperature and humidity must be kept within certain norms.
What have we done so far?
Currently, 5 air quality sensors measure the condition for the little visitors of The Little Gym.
Instructors and all parents have the opportunity to monitor this in real time while in the hall through a dedicated board. The board shows the air quality measured in three parameters (CO2, temperature and humidity) in 5 key zones in the hall.
